A healthcare organization in the Bronx is looking to add a licensed Addiction Psychiatrist to join their growing team.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday, no weekends (option for 4 ten hour work days)
- Hours: Standard business hours
- Patient Population: Adults
- Call Schedule: None
Responsibilities:
The Addiction Psychiatrist will:
- Oversee and manage the daily operation of their Life Recovery Center outpatient program
- Diagnose and provide direct patient care for mental health conditions and substance use disorders
- Develop individualized treatment plans for each patient and provide clinical consultations to other teams if needed
- Educate patients and their families about the nature of the mental health condition, treatment options, and strategies for managing symptoms and preventing relapse
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records, documenting patient assessments, treatment plans, progress, and any changes in medications or interventions
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Licensed to practice in the State of New York
- Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry
