A services organization in New Jersey is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Administrative Assistant in their Medical Department to join their growing team in Essex County. In this role, the qualified professional will be responsible for assisting employees/candidates from various business lines by performing general office duties.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: 6+ months
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 7am to 3:30pm or 7:30am to 4pm
Responsibilities:
- Scheduling appointments
- Filing paperwork
- Answering the phone, taking messages and returning phone calls
- Checking and responding to emails
- Handling confidential information/HIPPA knowledge
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 6+ months of related work experience
- High School Diploma / GED
- Previous experience in a Medical Office and/or related work setting
- Computer savvy
- Exceptional phone etiquette
- Great interpersonal skills
- Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong attention to detail
- Highly organized
