A recognized media & entertainment company is seeking a AdTech Specialist to join their team. The AdTech Specialist will be responsible to support the AdTech team with focusing on both operational troubleshooting and strategic growth.
Responsibilities
- Develop a fundamental understanding of the needs and business objectives of internal stakeholders and engage at a detailed technical level to drive product requirements.
- Grow and expand programmatic advertising footprint and capabilities through technology.
- Engage with engineering and operations teams both internally and externally to successfully establish connectivity between ad servers, in order to maximize ad delivery efficiency and yield.
- Consult with and review pre-sales technical and legal documentation to advocate for internal best practices.
- On-board DAI capabilities with new distribution partners.
- Accountability for planning and managing test activities. Create, develop and deploy detailed scripts with QA and Ad Ops teams.
- Maintain and groom programmatic sales via collaboration with our unified bidder and SSP partners.
- Ensure data integrity across all integrations for DMP, Business Intelligence, Addressable and Tracking efforts.
- Use Jira to track and maintain feature requirements and development progress.
- Collaborate with technical lead and scrum master to scope each development sprint, track progress, and work through development hurdles to deliver a great product on time and within scope
- Collaborate with the various Digital Media teams to advance their digital advertising knowledge and capabilities.
- Work collaboratively with Digital Ad Sales team to ensure the quality of digital advertising products by developing use cases, reviewing test cases, and tracking bugs.
- Manage corporate initiatives with accurate time estimates, adherence to deadlines, and strong communication to executive stakeholders.
- Stay abreast of the latest digital advertising trends and integrate them with business roadmaps.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- 2-5 years of relevant work experience.
- Deep knowledge of ad serving standards such as VAST, VMAP, VPAID, Smart XML, ORTB, SSAI, CSAI.
- Experience with AVOD/OTT/Ad-Support Distribution end points.
- Experience with Google Ad Manager and Freewheel MRM ad servers.
- Experience with Jira or similar system for project management.
- Strong organizational skills.
- Proven ability to work on tight deadlines and deliver quality result.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, who can work both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong oral and written communication skills.
Desired Skills
- Experience with Server-Side Stream Stitching Technology, preferred.
- Deep understanding of the interactions between Order Management Systems, Programmatic exchanges, header bidder/unified bidder technology, Ad Decisioning Servers, and players.
- To be able to work effectively with business and technical resources at all levels, including senior management.
- Digital Ad Trafficking is a plus.
- Media & Entertainment industry experience is a plus.
