AI Engineer
A top Fortune 50 financial institution is currently seeking an AI Engineer to join their team. This role will focus on building and optimizing machine learning models, leveraging advanced AI frameworks, and supporting large-scale data-driven initiatives.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid – 2 days onsite in Vienna, VA
- Shift: Standard business hours
- Schedule: Monday–Friday
- Hours: 40 per week
- Setting: Corporate technology environment
Responsibilities:
The AI Engineer will be responsible for:
- Designing, training, validating, and deploying machine learning models.
- Analyzing large-scale datasets to identify trends and unlock insights.
- Collaborating with data engineers, data scientists, and visualization teams on AI projects.
- Researching and evaluating emerging AI technologies and frameworks.
- Developing scalable data science solutions using cloud infrastructure.
Qualifications:
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics, Physics, or related field.
- Strong hands-on experience with machine learning model design, training, and monitoring.
- Expertise in ML algorithms, statistical modeling, and trade-off analysis.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
- Proficiency with TensorFlow or PyTorch.
- Background in Computer Vision, Image Processing, or NLP/NLU.
- Strong collaboration, communication, and presentation skills.
Desired Skills:
- GPU optimization with C++/CUDA.
- Knowledge of MLOps and CI/CD for model deployment.
- Understanding of AI Security and Responsible AI practices.
- Experience with Reinforcement Learning or Speech Recognition.
- Hands-on experience with Microsoft Azure AI/ML services.
