A renowned healthcare facility in Berlin, Vermont, is currently seeking an Anesthesiologist for its team at the Central Vermont Medical Center. This is an exciting opportunity for a qualified professional looking to join a dynamic medical setting.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: On-site required.
- Shift: Regular day 7 AM to 3 PM; 24-hour call with the first 10 hours in-house followed by home call.
- Schedule: Includes weekdays and weekend home call.
- Hours: Expectation to reach the hospital within 20 minutes during call hours.
- Setting: Level 3 Trauma Center at Central Vermont Medical Center with use of EPIC EMR.
Responsibilities:
The Anesthesiologist will be responsible for:
- Solo and medical direction of AAs and CRNAs.
- Performing regional anesthesia for orthopedic procedures.
- Administering spinal/epidural for OB cases.
- Managing central and arterial lines.
- Conducting airway procedures as needed.
Qualifications:
- Board Certified/Board Eligible (BC/BE).
- Licensed to practice in Vermont with capability for quick credentialing.
- Certifications: BLS, ACLS, PALS required.
- Proficiency in regional anesthesia techniques.
- Experience with EPIC EMR system.
- Strong communication skills.
- Team-oriented with strong interpersonal abilities.
- Adaptability in a dynamic medical environment.
- Commitment to high-quality patient care.
Desired Skills:
- Previous experience in a similar role.
- MD or DO degree in Anesthesiology.
- Advanced cardiac life support endorsements.
