Responsibilities:
The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for:
- Processing vendor invoices and reviewing monthly statements
- Enforcing PO policies across the organization
- Ensuring correct coding and approval for non-PO transactions
- Updating vendor master information as necessary
- Preparing monthly Accounts Payable accruals
Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of AP experience in Manufacturing
- High School Diploma or Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel
- Intermediate knowledge of accounting procedures
- Excellent keying skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivated
- Deadline-oriented
- Well-organized with multitasking abilities
- Ability to work independently
Desired Skills:
- 10 years of Accounts Payable experience in manufacturing
- Associate’s Degree in Accounting or Business Administration
- Proficiency in SAP
- Excellent keying and organizational skills
