A prominent health and human services organization in Huntington, NY is seeking an experienced and compassionate ARS Therapist to join their team. The organization provides support to individuals with substance use and co-occurring disorders. Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments for clients
- Provide individual and group therapy sessions
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Perform breathalyzer and urine screenings as required
- Collaborate with external service providers and agencies to coordinate care
- Participate in weekly case conferences and individual supervision
- Ensure compliance with applicable regulations and reporting standards
- Maintain a manageable caseload and meet productivity expectations
- Monitor and document client progress and treatment outcomes
- Adhere to confidentiality and mandated reporting guidelines
- Stay current with required professional certifications and training
Qualifications:
- LMSW, LMSW-P, LCSW, LMHC, LMHC-P, LMHCD, or CASAC preferred
- Experience working with individuals with substance use or co-occurring disorders is preferred
- Familiarity with OASAS regulations is a plus
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team-oriented setting
