Our client, a leading Media organization, is seeking motivated and technically skilled Atlassian Org Admin to join their growing enterprise tools team. In this role, you will serve as the primary administrator for our Atlassian suite (Jira, Confluence, Atlassian Access, Jira Service Management, and more), while also acting as the frontline support contact, infrastructure manager, and workflow designer.
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary Org Admin across the Atlassian cloud ecosystem (Jira Software, Confluence, Jira Service Management, Atlassian Access, Bitbucket, etc.)
- Configure and manage product access, security policies, and user provisioning via SSO/SAML and Atlassian Access
- Maintain product instance health, enforce governance standards, and manage integrations and plug-ins
- Provide Level 1 and 2 support for end users (e.g., permission issues, project configurations, broken workflows)
- Create and maintain internal documentation, self-service guides, and how-tos for business users
- Conduct 1:1 and group onboarding sessions or knowledge-transfer sessions for new users and teams
- Design and implement scalable, user-friendly workflows, schemes, custom fields, and automation rules in Jira and JSM
- Partner with business and technical teams to translate requirements into system functionality
- Build, test, and deploy workflow enhancements using native features and approved apps (e.g., ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira)
- Manage product configurations, sandbox environments, and change control
- Work closely with IT security and infrastructure teams to ensure compliance, backups, and performance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience)
- 3+ years of experience with Atlassian administration (Org Admin or Site Admin level experience preferred)
- Strong technical troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve issues independently
- Familiarity with SAML/SSO integrations, user lifecycle management, and Atlassian Access
- Experience designing custom workflows, automations, dashboards, and permission schemes
- Exposure to REST APIs, scripting tools (e.g., ScriptRunner, Automation for Jira), or JSON/XML configurations a plus
- Comfort working in a highly autonomous, fast-paced, and cross-functional environment
- Atlassian certifications (ACP-100, ACP-120, ACP-610, etc.) is a plus!
- Familiarity with enterprise tools like Slack, Microsoft 365, Lucid, LeanIX, or ServiceNow
- Experience supporting a global user base and managing multiple business units
