A top Fortune 50 financial organization, based near Vienna, VA, is actively seeking an ATM Operator to join their team. This role involves monitoring ATM systems enterprise-wide, managing incidents proactively, and ensuring consistent uptime across their network.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid: Yes – on‑campus for training, then 3 days on-site / 2 days remote
- Schedule: Rotating; includes every other weekend and holidays
- Hours: 12-hour workdays
- Setting: On-site during training; hybrid thereafter
- Classification: Essential Personnel (must be flexible for emergency or business-critical coverage)
Responsibilities:
- Proactively monitoring ATM enterprise systems for availability and performance
- Responding to alerts and incidents using system monitoring tools
- Diagnosing, escalating, and resolving operational issues and outages
- Creating and maintaining incident tickets, logging faults, resolution actions, and uptime
- Dispatching service technicians for hardware failures and tracking resolution workflows
- Collaborating with internal teams and third-party vendors to restore ATM services in alignment with established procedures
Qualifications:
- 1–2 years of ATM and/or network monitoring experience
- High school diploma or equivalent (Associate degree in IT or related field preferred)
- Proficiency with enterprise ATM/system monitoring tools
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Familiarity with IT systems terminology and enterprise environments
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively under pressure
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative and sound judgment in operational contexts
- Experience in a 24/7/365 service environment
Desired Skills:
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
- Experience with operational coordination or tracking functions
- Familiarity with tools such as Jira, Trello, or other ticketing/project-management platforms
- Exceptional organizational and multitasking abilities
- Strong interpersonal and collaborative communication skills
