A telecommunications company has a great opportunity awaiting a new AWS Engineer to join their growing team in St. Louis, MO. In this role, the qualified professional will be given technical authority to provide guidance and recommendations on AWS infrastructure items, data engineering ( ETL ), CI/CD delivery, and system performance.

- Setting: Hybrid (4 days onsite)
Responsibilities:
- Manage and support all aspects of the SDLC pipeline, including production deployments, environment refreshes, and ongoing operational support
- Utilize SDLC tools, including Git ( Bitbucket /GitHub/ GitLab ), Jenkins, and Artifactory , to manage code, automate builds, and orchestrate production deployments
- Monitor and respond to application performance, system health, and security vulnerabilities using tools such as Appdynamics , Splunk , Teradata Viewpoint, and AWS CloudWatch
- Architect and implement scalable and reliable solutions within the AWS ecosystem
- Implement and enforce server encryption, certifications, and patches
- Develop and support ETL processes and APIs , integrating various data sources and targets
- Write and optimize SQL queries for Teradata , MySQL, SQL Server, and Postgres by applying query performance tuning techniques
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including AWS and Teradata product management, cloud operations, and upstream boundary partners
- Manage and support IAM permissions and policies
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of professional Software Development experience
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
