The Role
We're looking for a seasoned Backend Developer with 5–10 years of experience to join our product team. You’ll be instrumental in developing secure, scalable back-end services that power our AI recruitment platform — integrating data, APIs, external systems, and AI agents across a complex, cloud-native environment.
What You’ll Do

Design and develop robust backend services using Python

Build, manage, and optimize PostgreSQL and MSSQL databases

Integrate with external APIs, backend systems, and OpenAI APIs

Implement ETL/ELT pipelines and manage both synchronous and asynchronous data flows

Work with vector databases(e.g., Pinecone, Weaviate) for AI-related indexing and retrieval

Deploy and manage solutions in Azure, leveraging services like AKS, Service Bus, APIM, Azure DevOps, Blob/Table Storage

Develop in a Linux-based environment, automating workflows and deployments

Collaborate with frontend, AI, and product teams to ensure smooth full-stack interactions

Focus on security, scalability, and performance across services and data layers

Champion the use of AI development accelerators to increase efficiency
What You Bring

5–10 years of backend development experience, primarily with Python
-
Deep experience with PostgreSQL and MSSQL in production environments
-
Strong knowledge of API design, integration, and data processing pipelines
-
Comfortable with both event-driven (async) and transactional (sync) architectures
-
Solid understanding of security practices in cloud, container, and full-stack environments
-
Exposure to OpenAI APIs, embeddings, or AI agent integrations
-
Experience deploying in Azure, with hands-on use of AKS, APIM, Service Bus, DevOps, and Storage

Background in Linux-based development and scripting

Bonus: Familiarity with Dynamics 365 and vector DBs

Passion for adopting and learning AI-assisted development tools

Experience with GitHub Copilot, or Cursor, OpenAI APIs,
Nice to Have

Practical experience with DevSecOps or infrastructure as code in Azure

Contributions to or interest in open-source Python tools
