A Fortune 50 financial services company is seeking a highly motivated Benefits Program Manager for our client in the McLean, VA or Pensacola, FL area. In this role, the Benefits Program Manager will be responsible for leading the implementation and management of employee benefit initiatives, with a strong emphasis on pharmacy benefits.
*** This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite (McLean, VA or Pensacola, FL) at least 2 days a week. ***
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage projects focused on the implementation of employee benefit programs aligned with corporate and departmental strategies
- Consult with the Technical teams to oversee the development of system interfaces, queries, and reports; write detailed business requirements to support systems changes and enhancements
- Oversee the execution of benefits communication strategies and related activities to ensure employee understanding and engagement
- Support the selection and management of vendors, including contract negotiation, development, and issue resolution
- Analyze data, plan documents, and related materials to provide actionable insights and support strategic decision-making
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of proven experience in the design, administration, and communication of Employee Benefits
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree
- Strong focus on Pharmacy Benefits
- Strong understanding of various types of Employee Benefit plans (health, dental, pharmacy, etc.)
- Strong knowledge of Benefits-related laws and regulations
Desired Skills:
- Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including HR, Legal, Compliance, and IT
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and reporting platforms
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
