A Massachusetts-based services company is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new SAP ABAP Developer to their team.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions within SAP systems
- Develop and maintain complex SAP ABAP programs, interfaces, reports, and enhancements to meet business needs, ensuring high quality, scalability, and performance
- Utilize advanced ABAP programming techniques, including ABAP Programming on HANA, to leverage the capabilities of HANA database for optimized performance and efficiency
- Apply object-oriented ABAP principles for modular, reusable, and maintainable code development
- Utilize SAP Data Dictionary for effective management and manipulation of SAP data structures
- Design and implement comprehensive solutions using SAP technologies such as Function Modules, SAP Enhancement Framework, and Reports
- Conduct thorough testing of developed solutions to ensure functionality, integrity, and compliance with technical specifications
- Provide technical support and troubleshooting assistance for SAP systems, resolving issues in a timely manner
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment of SAP development activities with overall business objectives and priorities
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6+ years of SAP experience with 6+ years focused on ABAP development
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Informatics, Engineering or related field
- Strong expertise in object-oriented programming
- Experience with the FI modules of SAP S/4 and the Finance business process
- Experience in ABAP on HANA development on version 2022 (or higher)
- Experience with standard API’s in S/4 HANA and SAP Cloud Platform Integration capabilities and tools
