A reputable organization in Queens, NY is seeking a Client Care Coordinator to join their team at a renowned family shelter. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact by providing top-tier case management services to families in need.

About the Opportunity:

  • Hybrid or Remote: On-site
  • Shift: Full-time
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday, 9am-5pm
  • Hours: 35 hours/week
  • Setting: Family Shelter

Responsibilities:

The Client Care Coordinator will be responsible for:

  • Managing a caseload of approximately 50 families
  • Completing biopsychosocial evaluations within 30 days of client entry
  • Conducting weekly individual sessions with clients
  • Leading "Ready Set Goal" group sessions for young parents
  • Creating safety plans for domestic violence situations

Qualifications:

  • Master's in Social Work required
  • LMSW within one year of hire
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • Experience with biopsychosocial assessments preferred
  • Ability to complete pre-employment clearances
  • TB test, First Aid/CPR, and overdose prevention certifications
  • Strong interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organizational skills

Desired Skills:

  • 1+ years of experience in social work
  • Master's degree in Social Work
  • LMSW certification
  • Biopsychosocial assessment experience
  • Proficiency in Spanish
