Position Overview:
A NYC based non-profit seeking a Clinical Supervisor to lead a growing team of psychotherapists at its Bronx-based outpatient mental health clinic serving children, adolescents, and their families. This is a strategic leadership role that blends clinical oversight with program operations, training, and supervision.

The Clinical Supervisor plays a vital role in staff development, quality assurance, compliance with OMH regulations, and ensuring that services are delivered with fidelity to evidence-based models such as TF-CBT. This is an ideal position for an experienced LCSW who is passionate about child and adolescent mental health and thrives in a collaborative, high-impact clinical environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide coaching, development, and corrective action as needed
  • Oversee clinical operations and staffing at the 1990 Westchester Ave location
  • Coordinate and lead weekly team case consultations/interdisciplinary meetings
  • Maintain a small caseload (6–7 clients) to stay active in clinical practice and support model fidelity
  • Ensure timely submission of progress notes, assessments, and treatment plans across team

Program Oversight & Compliance

  • Collaborate with the Director of Clinical Services & Strategic Initiatives on policy implementation, QA/QI initiatives, and program development
  • Monitor clinical documentation quality and caseload distribution
  • Ensure compliance with OMH standards and internal protocols
  • Serve as resource and consultant for clinical escalations, crisis response, and care planning
  • Participate in hiring, onboarding, and training of new psychotherapists

Data & Administrative Support

  • Support ongoing tracking of clinical metrics and program performance
  • Contribute to grant reporting, outcomes tracking, and strategic planning
  • Attend leadership meetings and submit monthly summaries to the Director

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work (LCSW required)
  • Minimum 4 years of post-MSW experience, preferably with supervisory duties
  • Strong knowledge of evidence-based models (TF-CBT preferred)
  • Experience in child welfare or Medicaid-based behavioral health settings preferred
  • Spanish proficiency strongly preferred
  • Comfortable providing clinical and administrative supervision
  • Skilled in documentation review, performance coaching, and compliance monitoring
