A public behavioral health agency is seeking a Crisis Clinician to support youth and families experiencing behavioral health crises in both the Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) and the 23-Hour Crisis Receiving Center (CRC). This role involves direct clinical care, assessments, crisis intervention, discharge planning, and coordination with families and community partners.
About the Opportunity:
- Schedule: Rotating shifts, including on-call responsibilities
- Service Population: Youth ages 5–17 (CSU) and 7–17 (CRC)
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical and operational leadership in support of the Villa’s mission and trauma-informed care
- Maintain respectful, culturally competent communication with youth, families, and professionals
- Establish strong collaborative relationships with individuals, families, and community partners
- Attend and contribute to staff and community meetings and support team-based operations
- Maintain confidentiality and compliance with ethical standards and regulatory requirements
- Monitor and evaluate processes, staffing needs, and service quality to recommend improvements
- Deliver 24/7 emergency screenings and crisis stabilization services
- Conduct individual, family, and group therapy aligned with treatment plans
- Develop and monitor discharge plans with linkages to community support systems
- Assess individual progress and adapt interventions accordingly
- Ensure treatment planning is individualized, inclusive, and strengths-based
- Maintain timely, high-quality documentation from intake through aftercare
- Review clinical records to ensure accuracy, coordination, and regulatory compliance
- Report serious incidents and suspected abuse per policy
- Support program compliance with licensing, certification, and accreditation standards
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience working with children/adolescents in Behavioral Health settings
- Master’s Degree in a Human Services-related field required
- Licensed Eligible
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and electronic health record systems

Desired Skills:
