Desktop Support Technician
A top Fortune 50 financial institution in Pensacola, FL is currently seeking a Desktop Support Technician to join their team. This role will focus on providing hands-on technical support for end-users, ensuring reliable system performance, and delivering an excellent customer service experience.
About the Opportunity:
- Onsite: Pensacola, FL
- Shift: Monday–Friday
- Schedule: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time)
- Hours: 40 per week
- Setting: Corporate office environment
Responsibilities:
The Desktop Support Technician will be responsible for:
- Providing desktop support for end-users, including hardware, software, and peripherals
- Installing, configuring, and troubleshooting Windows 11 operating systems
- Setting up and maintaining laptops, desktops, printers, and related equipment
- Assisting with basic networking issues (LAN/WAN, connectivity, VPN)
- Delivering outstanding customer service to resolve technical issues in a timely manner
Qualifications:
- Experience working independently and collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Hands-on experience with hardware/equipment setup and support
- Windows 11 OS troubleshooting and support experience
- Basic networking knowledge
Desired Skills:
- Security+ certification, IT-related degree, or equivalent professional experience
- Printer server management experience
- ServiceNow ticketing system experience
- Office 365 and Microsoft Teams support experience
