A financial services company is seeking a highly motivated DevOps Engineer for a great opportunity with their team in the Charlotte, NC OR Detroit, MI area.
***This is a Hybrid opportunity requiring the qualified professional to work onsite at least 3 days a week.***
Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain infrastructure as code using Terraform.
- Manage and optimize AWS environments to ensure high availability and performance.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues using Dynatrace (preferred) or other monitoring tools.
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless integration and deployment of applications.
- Automate repetitive tasks to increase efficiency and reduce manual interventions.
- Ensure security and compliance best practices are followed in all deployments.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer or similar role.
- Strong proficiency with Git for version control.
- Solid experience with Terraform for infrastructure as code.
- In-depth knowledge of AWS services and best practices.
- Experience with CI/CD tools and practices.
- Strong scripting skills (e.g., Bash, Python).
- Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Good understanding of networking, security, and performance optimization.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Experience with Dynatrace for monitoring and performance management.
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
