Responsibilities:
The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:
- Automating and optimizing CI/CD deployment pipelines.
- Improving infrastructure and monitoring systems for stability and scalability.
- Enhancing automation for new project provisions.
- Ensuring compliance with quality, security, and operational standards.
- Administering DevOps tools and processes.
- Leading internal projects and mentoring team members.
- Documenting deployment processes and maintaining standards.
- Conducting tool training and process reviews.
- Providing second/third level application support.
- Supporting audits and addressing operational risks.
- Staying updated with the latest technology tools and trends.
- Acting as escalation POC for application support issues.
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of experience in DevOps and Agile processes.
- Proficiency in Linux shell, Python, and Groovy scripting.
- Experience with Docker/OpenShift and Kubernetes.
- Expertise in CI/CD pipeline environments.
- Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
- Understanding of IT operations in a zero downtime environment.
- Advanced Linux knowledge.
- Experience with databases like Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
- Strong skills in PowerBI visualizations.
- Solid background in Agile software development and management.
- Understanding of quality control and test automation.
- Effective communication and team collaboration skills.
Desired Skills:
- 7+ years of experience preferred.
- Experience with AWS, Azure, and containerization.
