About the Opportunity:

Responsibilities:

The DevOps Engineer will be responsible for:

  • Automating and optimizing CI/CD deployment pipelines.
  • Improving infrastructure and monitoring systems for stability and scalability.
  • Enhancing automation for new project provisions.
  • Ensuring compliance with quality, security, and operational standards.
  • Administering DevOps tools and processes.
  • Leading internal projects and mentoring team members.
  • Documenting deployment processes and maintaining standards.
  • Conducting tool training and process reviews.
  • Providing second/third level application support.
  • Supporting audits and addressing operational risks.
  • Staying updated with the latest technology tools and trends.
  • Acting as escalation POC for application support issues.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps and Agile processes.
  • Proficiency in Linux shell, Python, and Groovy scripting.
  • Experience with Docker/OpenShift and Kubernetes.
  • Expertise in CI/CD pipeline environments.
  • Familiarity with DevOps tools such as Git, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
  • Understanding of IT operations in a zero downtime environment.
  • Advanced Linux knowledge.
  • Experience with databases like Oracle, DB2, PostgreSQL, MongoDB.
  • Strong skills in PowerBI visualizations.
  • Solid background in Agile software development and management.
  • Understanding of quality control and test automation.
  • Effective communication and team collaboration skills.

Desired Skills:

  • 7+ years of experience preferred.
  • Experience with AWS, Azure, and containerization.
  • Advanced scripting skills, including Bash and Python.
  • Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Team leadership and mentoring abilities.
