A consumer products company in New Jersey is actively seeking an experienced IT professional to join their team as their new Director of IT Infrastructure. As the Director of IT Infrastructure, you’ll play a pivotal role in managing and securing our applications, systems, and infrastructure.
About the Opportunity:
- Location: Glen Rock, New Jersey
- Work Schedule: Hybrid (3-Days a Week)
Responsibilities:
- Align IT initiatives with business goals such as labor efficiency, margins, and operational excellence
- Own vendor relationships — evaluate, negotiate, and manage contracts for cost-effective, scalable solutions
- Translate business needs into actionable IT strategies and roadmaps
- Inspire, mentor, and lead a high-performing IT team
- Build and communicate a multi-year vision for infrastructure, security, and system accessibility
- Own IT budgeting — from building to managing and reporting
- Lead with transparency, accountability, and long-term thinking
- Understand and oversee systems including POS, networking, cloud environments (SaaS, PaaS, IaaS), and cybersecurity
- Establish IT policies, mitigate risks, and identify vulnerabilities with strategic, forward-thinking solutions
- Manage projects with precision — delivering on scope, timeline, and budget
- Act as a liaison between technical teams and senior leadership, translating complex tech into business language
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Proven experience in an IT leadership role
- Technical knowledge across key systems, applications, and security frameworks
- Strong business and financial acumen
- Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and communication skills
