A recognized manufacturing organization is currently seeking a Director of Payroll & Benefits to join their growing team. In this role, the Director of Payroll & Benefits is responsible for the overall strategy and vision of benefits and wellness programs.

About the Opportunity:

  • Start: ASAP
  • Schedule: Monday to Friday
  • Hours: 8am to 5pm
  • Setting: Hybrid (onsite at least 4 days a week; Monday to Thursday are mandatory)

Responsibilities:

  • Monitor administrative costs and recommend cost-efficient alternatives for a workforce of global employees
  • Develop long-term strategies for benefits and wellness programs, inclusive of plan offerings and design, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations
  • Provide strategic oversight to payroll processing and benefits and wellness-related programs, such as but not limited to medical, dental, prescription, disability, and life plans
  • Ensure the organization remains competitive in the marketplace
  • Periodically perform a comprehensive and thorough analysis of benefits and wellness programs to industry standards and best practices to identify areas for improvement
  • Provide internal consulting and education to employees, HR Business Partners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment with organizational goals and effective benefits management
  • Leading the Benefits and Payroll teams to grow and engage employees aligned to our strategic
  • Perform other duties as assigned

Qualifications:

  • 10+ years of progressive experience in Payroll and Benefits design and administration
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, Finance, HR, or related field
  • In-depth knowledge of Payroll systems
  • Microsoft Office proficient
  • Solid analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Great interpersonal skills
  • Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Highly organized

Desired Skills:

  • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) or Certified Employee Benefits Specialist (CEBS)
  • Advanced Degree or certification
