A leading Fortune 50 Financial Services Company is seeking a highly motivated Documentation Specialist I to join our team in a hybrid capacity, working in Pensacola, FL, Winchester, VA, or Vienna, VA. This role is essential in ensuring seamless communication and documentation processes within the organization. **About the Opportunity:** - **Hybrid or Remote:** Hybrid - **Shift:** Day - **Schedule:** Full-time - **Hours:** Standard Business Hours - **Setting:** Office/Remote **Responsibilities:** The **Documentation Specialist I** will be responsible for: - Ensuring project deliverables meet customers' expectations and timelines. - Building and maintaining relationships with team members, management, and stakeholders. - Conducting research and preparing reference materials. - Managing projects from inception through to implementation. - Identifying and resolving project issues and risks. - Maintaining a current documentation library and providing user training. - Reviewing proposed policy changes for compliance and completeness. - Administering and developing content for internal platforms. - Conducting user acceptance testing and validating results. - Communicating project material effectively with clarity. - Collaborating with sub-teams to determine user requirements. - Organizing policies and procedures according to standards. - Recommending communication strategies. - Writing instructions and online reference material. - Performing additional duties as assigned. **Qualifications:** - 2+ years of related experience. - Associate's Degree in Communication Studies or equivalent. - Proven ability to work both independently and in a team. - Experience in documenting data, business processes, and workflow. - Proficiency with HTML and web technologies. - Basic database and presentation software skills. - Skilled in managing multiple priorities and achieving goals. - Strong verbal and written communication skills. - Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills. - Ability to follow and apply relevant data and guidelines effectively. **Desired Skills:** - Associate's Degree or equivalent training and experience. - Strong project management abilities. - Effective communication and documentation handling skills.
