An established academic health system in South Carolina is currently seeking multiple Emergency Medicine Physicians to join their team across several hospital sites. This is a great opportunity to provide full-time coverage in a high-volume setting with strong support and cross-credentialing in place.
About the Opportunity:
- Openings: 10 positions available
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM)
- Schedule: Full-time, ongoing
- Credentialing: Temp privileges available for providers with a clear background and no malpractice
- Setting: Emergency Department
- Support: Advanced Practice Providers (APPs) on site; cross-credentialing required for all locations
- Training : Mandatory system on-boarding modules provided
Responsibilities:
- Managing a variety of emergent cases in a busy ED setting
- Collaborating with APPs and other on-site clinical teams
- Documenting encounters using the site’s EMR system
- Participating in hospital on-boarding and clinical orientation
- Maintaining high-quality patient care standards across all sites
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution
- Board Certification or Eligibility in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/BCEM); FM/IM physicians with strong ED experience will be considered
- Moderate sedation certification
- Strong ED clinical skills
- Comfortable rotating between multiple sites
- Team-oriented with strong communication and adaptability
