An established academic health system in Vermont is currently seeking multiple Emergency Medicine Advanced Practice Providers to join their team across several hospital sites. This is a great opportunity to provide full-time coverage in a high-volume setting with strong support and cross-credentialing in place.
About the Opportunity:
- Openings: 4 positions available
- Shift: 12-hour shifts (7 AM – 7 PM or 7 PM – 7 AM)
- Schedule: Full-time, ongoing
- Credentialing: Temp privileges available for providers with a clear background and no malpractice
- Setting: Emergency Department
- Training: Mandatory system onboarding modules provided
Responsibilities:
The Emergency Medicine Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant will be responsible for:
- Managing a variety of emergent cases in a busy ED setting
- Documenting encounters using the site’s EMR system
- Participating in hospital onboarding and clinical orientation
- Maintaining high-quality patient care standards across all sites
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Emergency Medicine experience
- Moderate sedation certification
- Strong ED clinical skills
- Comfortable rotating between multiple sites
- Team-oriented with strong communication and adaptability
Desired Skills:
- Recent hospital or academic system experience
- Proficiency with EMR documentation
- Calm under pressure in fast-paced environments
- Flexibility to cover both day and night shifts
