A recognized services organization in Pennsylvania is currently seeking a skilled and compassionate Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) for a promising opportunity with their Workplace Health & Safety team in Hamburg. In this role, the Emergency Medicine Technician (EMT) will be responsible for supporting the health and well-being of employees by providing first aid, engaging in safety education, and supporting injury prevention programs.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Nights
- Schedule: 5 shifts per week
- Hours: 6pm to 4:30am
- Setting: Occupational Health
Responsibilities:
- Provide first aid and refer employees to outside medical providers as needed
- Maintain records of care and prepare shift reports
- Support return-to-work programs and workers’ compensation processes
- Participate in associate safety committee meetings and case management reviews
- Coach employees on safe work habits and ergonomics
- Maintain medical supplies and a clean treatment area
- Assist with emergency response and random drug testing protocols
- Maintain current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications
- Flexibility to work holidays and weekends as needed
Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

One of the following:
- Valid EMT or Paramedic Certification (State or NREMT)
- 6+ months of recent military medical experience (e.g., Combat Medic, Corpsman)
- Active Athletic Trainer Certification (BOC or State equivalent)
- Must obtain adult First Aid/CPR/AED certification within 3 weeks of start date (if not already held)
Desired Skills:
- Certified CPR/First Aid/AED instructor (AHA or ARC)
- Experience in industrial wellness or occupational health
- Familiarity with OSHA regulations and workers’ compensation
- Experience with ergonomic assessments and digital record keeping
- Proficient in Microsoft Office
