Tandym Group is assembling a dedicated Emergency Response Team to swiftly address public health emergencies and natural disasters. We are actively recruiting licensed healthcare professionals and essential support staff for anticipated deployments in response to hurricane-related emergencies in Louisiana.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Days 7am to 7pm or 7pm or 7am
- Deployment Locations: New Orleans, Baton Rouge, Alexandria, Lake Charles, Lafayette, Thibodaux, Hammond, Monroe, Bossier City
Open Positions:
- Physicians (Internal Medicine, Emergency Medicine, Primary Care)
- Physician Assistants (PA)
- Nurse Practitioners (NP)
- Registered Nurses (RN)
- Licensed Practical Nurses (LPN)
- Pharmacists
- Pharmacy Technicians
- Respiratory Therapists
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
- Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA)
- Clerical / Administrative Support Staff
Responsibilities:
- Conducting patient assessments, medical screenings, and triage
- Administering vaccinations and medications
- Providing first aid, wound care, and support for chronic conditions
- Delivering behavioral health care and social services
- Maintaining accurate documentation and data entry
- Engaging in community outreach and education
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1+ year recent experience in relevant settings (ER, Acute Care, Behavioral Health, Primary Care, etc.)
- Active, unencumbered license in your state of practice (some roles may require Louisiana-specific compliance)
- COVID-19 vaccination and booster (may be required based on assignment)
- Willingness to deploy on short notice
