Employee Experience Strategist I
A top financial institution with locations in Virginia and Florida is currently seeking an Employee Experience Strategist I to join their team. This role plays a key part in shaping and executing employee engagement strategies in support of a positive and people-focused workplace culture.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid: Candidate must be located in Vienna, VA (HQ), Winchester, VA (WOC), or Pensacola, FL (GPO)
- Onsite Requirement: Minimum 2 days per week (hybrid guidelines)
- Shift: 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM (local time)
- Setting: Corporate/Enterprise environment

Responsibilities:
The Employee Experience Strategist I
will be responsible for:
- Supporting the development and execution of employee engagement and experience strategies
- Managing and enhancing employee-focused programs with a continuous improvement mindset
- Supporting change management initiatives with resources, tools, and training
- Preparing leadership presentations with data-driven insights on culture, engagement, and morale
- Analyzing survey data and trends to identify opportunities for strategic improvement
- Recommending and implementing enhancements to employee-facing processes
- Identifying leadership development and engagement opportunities in collaboration with partners
- Facilitating employee feedback channels and distilling insights for executive review
- Advancing scalable employee recognition programs
- Assisting with onboarding/offboarding process improvement and engagement training
- Contributing to planning sessions and knowledge-sharing across teams
Qualifications:
- 5+ years of relevant professional experience
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience
- Experience in employee engagement, HR strategy, or organizational development
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, SharePoint, and digital collaboration tools
- Strong analytical skills; ability to interpret data and trends
- Experience in project or change management environments
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion
- Proven ability to influence and collaborate with all levels of an organization
Desired Skills:
- Experience supporting large-scale or enterprise-wide engagement initiatives
- Background in market/consumer research or strategic planning
- Certifications in project management or change management (e.g., PMP, Prosci)
- Familiarity with engagement survey platforms and feedback tools
- Passion for fostering inclusive, employee-centered workplace culture
