A New York City-based nonprofit organization is looking to fill an immediate need with the addition of a new Employee Relations Specialist to their team.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Temp or Perm
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 9am to 5pm or 10am to 5pm (1-hour lunch break; 35-hour work week max)
- Setting: Hybrid (4 days onsite; 1 day work-from-home)
Responsibilities:
- Conduct HR investigations (discrimination, harassment, retaliation, and disciplinary)
- Guide all Employee Relations matters, including but not limited to performance management, disciplinary actions, and policies & procedures
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of Human Resources experience with a focus on Employee Relations
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree
- Previous experience with HR Investigations and/or related work
- Microsoft Office experience
