This role is an exciting opportunity to work with cutting-edge data centers within a top-tier Fortune 40 company. **About the Opportunity:** - **Hybrid or Remote:** On-site role - **Shift:** Variable shifts, including nights and weekends - **Schedule:** Rotating predefined schedule - **Hours:** Up to 12-hour shifts - **Setting:** Dynamic data center environment **Responsibilities:** The **Data Center Electrical Technician** will be responsible for: - Supporting rack power-up operations at multiple sites - Ensuring adherence to all safety procedures during tasks - Adapting work schedule to site-specific needs, including night shifts and weekends - Supporting multiple locations/sites - Navigating job sites with uneven terrain and maintaining balance on ladders - Lifting and moving items up to 39 pounds unassisted, with group efforts for heavier items - Regularly engaging in various physical activities, such as stooping, kneeling, climbing stairs, and more **Qualifications:** - 1+ year of electrical experience - High school diploma or equivalent - Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) certification - Proficiency in electrical procedures and adherence - Knowledge and proper usage of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) - Understanding of basic electrical theory - Competence in using tools like multimeters, pliers, and screwdrivers - Strong adherence to procedures and safety protocols - Excellent teamwork and communication skills - Problem-solving abilities **Desired Skills:** - Experience with power distribution, preventative maintenance, and troubleshooting - Knowledge of generators, HVAC systems, and high voltage equipment - Familiarity with Building Automated Systems and Control Systems - Nice-to-have skills: Experience with critical facilities, uninterruptible power supplies, automatic transfer switches, chillers, and air handlers Join our team to be a part of a forward-thinking company at the forefront of data center technology.
