A leading healthcare network in Connecticut is currently seeking a Primary Care Physician, Nurse Practitioner, or Physician Assistant to support their outpatient site. This is a flexible locum opportunity for 6–9 months with no call responsibilities.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Day
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: 8am to 5pm
- Setting: Outpatient Primary Care
- Patient Population: Ages 5+
- On-Call: None
Responsibilities:
- Delivering primary care services to patients
- Conducting evaluations, managing chronic conditions, and preventive care
- Collaborating with on-site clinical support team
- Documenting in the EMR system
- Participating in ongoing care planning and coordination
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of relevant outpatient experience
- MD, DO, NP, or PA license in CT (or eligibility)
- Active DEA & CDS (or willingness to obtain)
- Experience in Family or Internal Medicine
- Strong clinical judgment
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently
Desired Skills:
- Prior experience seeing patients ages 5+
- Familiarity with EPIC EMR
- Team-oriented with a flexible schedule
