A dynamic mental health clinic in Bronx, NY is currently seeking a Fee-for-Service Psychotherapist to join their team. This role offers flexibility with a mix of remote and onsite work, perfect for professionals seeking part-time opportunities in a supportive environment.

About the Opportunity:

  • Hybrid or Remote: Hybrid (onsite in Bronx, NY; remote flexibility during weekdays, onsite Saturdays)
  • Shift: Flexible
  • Schedule: Must commit to a minimum of 10 hours per week
  • Hours: Varies by session (30 min, 45 min, 1 hour)
  • Setting: Outpatient Clinic

Responsibilities:

The Fee-for-Service Psychotherapist will be responsible for:

  • Providing individual, group, and family therapy to youth ages 3–18
  • Conducting intakes, assessments, and screenings for trauma and safety concerns
  • Offering both in-person and telehealth psychotherapy services
  • Delivering treatment based on evidence-based models like TF-CBT
  • Participating in crisis intervention and consistent client sessions
  • Completing timely documentation and collaborating on treatment plans
  • Maximizing onsite availability and coordinating client schedules
  • Submitting accurate timesheets based on delivered sessions

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology, or related field
  • Active NYS licensure: LMSW, LMHC, or LCAT
  • 1+ years of experience in clinical settings preferred
  • Experience with children, trauma, or foster care youth preferred
  • Strong documentation and interpersonal skills
  • Spanish proficiency a plus

  • Experience with trauma, poverty, homelessness, and related issues
  • Flexibility and self-direction in managing caseload
  • Interest in TF-CBT and motivational interviewing
  • Commitment to high-quality, ethical clinical care
