A health services network in New York is currently seeking a licensed Registered Nurse (RN) to join one of their group homes in Rockland County.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing (Contract to Hire)
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Flexible (7am to 3pm or 8am to 4pm or 9am to 5pm or 10am to 6pm)
- Patient Population: Adults (IDD / Medically Fragile)
- Patient Volume: 10 per day
Responsibilities:
- Provide documented oversight of medical appointments and medical issues
- Coordinate and monitor health services as well as signs and symptoms of illness
- Train and oversee all medical systems and document accurate completion of recommendations
- Monitor care during medical hospitalizations
- Provide initial and ongoing training in all delegated nursing tasks or functions
Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing
- NYS Registered Nurse license
Desired Skills:
- 1+ year of Nursing experience
- Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
- Working knowledge of YAI and OPWDD med administration standards
