A leading healthcare organization in Nashville, TN, is currently seeking a dedicated Customer Service Support Specialist. This position provides a vital role in supporting the clinical team and acting as a resource for members regarding disease prevention and benefit education.

Responsibilities:

The Customer Service Support Specialist will be responsible for:

  • Conducting educational telephone calls to advise members on available benefits, services, and programs.
  • Completing health needs assessments and referring members to appropriate health management programs.
  • Reaching out to members with care gaps, motivating compliance, and aiding in provider location and appointment scheduling.
  • Managing system work queues and screening identified members for various eligibility and service inquiries.
  • Facilitating research and analysis on inquiries and/or complaints related to processes and member incentives.

Qualifications:

  • 2 years of experience in a customer service support role required.
  • Associate's Degree in education, communication, or health-related field, or equivalent work experience.
  • Proficient interpersonal and organizational skills.
  • Independent decision-making and problem-solving skills.
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Self-motivated with effective time management abilities.
  • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
