A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a licensed Hematologist / Oncologist to join one of their community-based medical centers in Brooklyn.
Responsibilities:
- Create and execute the strategic vision for cancer care services for this region, including clinical care, patient experience, and financial metrics
- Lead and direct a patient-centered, multidisciplinary cancer care program
- Expand the number of patients served by the medical center, and the range of cancer care services available
- Advocate for and enable interdepartmental and interdisciplinary clinical services
- Examine and diagnose disorders and diseases of the blood, bone marrow, vascular and immune system
Qualifications:
- M.D. or M.D./Ph.D. from an accredited medical school
- Board Certification in both Hematology and Medical Oncology
- Expertise in either Hematologic Malignancies or solid tumors
