A healthcare network in New York City is currently seeking a new Internal Medicine Hospitalist to join their growing team in Brooklyn.
About the Opportunity:
- Specialty: Internal Medicine
- Schedule: 7 days on; 7days off
Responsibilities:
The Internal Medicine Hospitalist will be responsible for:
- Supervising residents on a busy inpatient service
- Managing patients through the continuum of hospital care, including requesting appropriate tests, medication management, specialty consults
- Coordinating the care of nursing and support staff
- Writing discharge and follow-up notes and communicating with the patient's Primary Care Physician
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications
- Licensed to practice Medicine in the State of New York
- Board Eligible / Certified in Internal Medicine
