**Hospitalist Position in Bristol, CT** A leading healthcare provider in Connecticut is currently seeking a dedicated Hospitalist to join their team in Bristol. This role offers a unique opportunity for a professional in Family or Internal Medicine to advance their career in a dynamic healthcare setting. **About the Opportunity:** - **Hybrid or Remote:** On-site - **Shift:** Day - **Schedule:** 7 on/7 off - **Hours:** 12-hour shifts - **Setting:** Hospital with an open ICU, no procedural expectations **Responsibilities:** The **Hospitalist** will be responsible for: - Managing an average of 16-18 patients per day along with 2 admissions - Collaborating with pulmonologists, anesthesiologists, and ER for specialized procedures - Ensuring comprehensive care for all patients during the nocturnist schedule - Upholding quality standards and promoting a supportive team environment - Utilizing Meditech EMR for effective patient record management **Qualifications:** - Minimum of 1 year of experience - CT License and Board Certified in Internal Medicine or Family Medicine - Active DEA Certification - Proficient with Meditech EMR - Strong communication and teamwork skills - Problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities **Desired Skills:** - Experience of more than 1 year in a similar role - Advanced proficiency with Meditech EMR - Additional certifications in critical care or hospital medicine - Ability to thrive in a fast-paced clinical environment - Strong interpersonal and patient management skills Join a healthcare team recognized for its commitment to professional excellence and patient care, and leverage your skills to make a significant impact in the Bristol community.
