A media agency in NYC is seeking to hire an HR Generalist to join their growing team on a contract basis.
About the Opportunity:
- Hours: 9am to 5:30pm or 9am to 6pm
- Setting: Hybrid (3 days in the office; 2 days remote)
Responsibilities:
- Assist with smoothly onboarding new hires (f/t, contractors, payroll)
- Assist with the recruitment and hiring process
- Process time sensitive life cycle changes
- Assist with the administration of the annual merit cycle and ongoing compensation needs
- Assist with the management and execution of employee activities
- Manage the process of transitioning exiting employees
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience as an HR Generalist
- Associate’s and/or Bachelor’s Degree
- Thorough understanding of HR practices and processes
- Microsoft Office proficient
