We are seeking an accomplished Director of Human Resources to join a leading technology company based in Woodcliff Lake, NJ. The selected candidate will play a crucial role in driving HR strategy and aligning it with business goals.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Onsite Monday to Thursday, Work From Home on Friday
- Hours: 8-4:30pm with some flexibility required
- Setting: Corporate headquarters
Responsibilities:
The Director of Human Resources will be responsible for:
- Aligning HR strategies with business objectives in collaboration with executive leadership
- Leading workforce planning, talent acquisition, and retention strategies
- Overseeing payroll processing and ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements
- Ensuring compliance with all federal, state, and local labor laws
- Managing, mentoring, and developing an HR team of five professionals
Qualifications:
- 10+ years of HR experience, including 3 years in a leadership role
- Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
- SHRM-SCP or SPHR certification preferred
- Expert knowledge of HR policies, practices, and laws
- Proficiency in Microsoft applications
- Strong communication and analytical skills
- Excellent leadership and time management skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive matters
- Innovative and collaborative mindset
Desired Skills:
- 10+ years of experience in Human Resources
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- SHRM-CP certification a plus
- Experience with ADP Workforce Now
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
