A major health system in North Carolina is seeking a Board-Certified Interventional Cardiologist for locum weekday coverage. This assignment is based at a hospital with strong support and consistent case volume.
About the Opportunity:
- Setting: Inpatient + outpatient (no telehealth)
- Cases: 7–8 caths per day
- EMR: EPIC
- Credentialing: 90 days
- Travel/Lodging: Covered
Responsibilities:
The Interventional Cardiologist
will be responsible for:
- Performing diagnostic/interventional heart caths
- Managing inpatient/outpatient cases
- Collaborating with a clinical team
- Completing timely documentation
Qualifications:
- MD/DO; Board Certified
- Active NC or IMLC license (with expiration)
- Active DEA
- BLS & ACLS required
- 3+ years’ experience preferred
