A property management firm in New York City is looking to add a versatile and hardworking IT Project Manager to join their growing team. In this role, the IT Project Manager will be responsible for leading the successful delivery of key client projects, including planning, executing, and closing projects on time, within scope, and within budget.
***This is a Hybrid schedule requiring the qualified professional to work a minimum of 2 days a week onsite in Midtown, NYC**
Responsibilities:
- Coordinate internal teams and third-party vendors to ensure seamless project execution
- Define project scope, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with clients and stakeholders
- Develop and manage detailed project plans to track milestones and ensure timely delivery
- Monitor project performance using appropriate tools, KPIs, and risk management practices
- Manage project budgets, timelines, and scope; proactively adjust plans based on financial analysis or shifting requirements
- Conduct regular status meetings with clients and internal teams to report progress and resolve issues
- Ensure resource availability and resolve conflicts or constraints that impact project delivery
- Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including briefs, reports, process maps, and status updates
- Build and maintain strong client relationships throughout the project lifecycle
- Continuously evaluate processes and recommend improvements to drive operational efficiency
- Support hiring needs by identifying and onboarding new talent as necessary for project success
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Project Management, Business, or a related field—or equivalent work experience
- Proven experience managing complex projects from initiation to completion
- Experience with Project Budgeting, Performance Tracking, and Reporting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and Project Management tools (e.g., MS Project, Asana, Jira)
- Strong leadership and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with keen attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- PMP or PRINCE2 certification
