A leading nonprofit services organization in Virginia is currently seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse to join their team in Suffolk.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Assignment Length: Ongoing
- Schedule: Monday to Friday (alternating weekends)
- Hours: 3pm to 11pm (30min unpaid lunch)
The Licensed Practical Nurse will:
- Monitor consumer safety
- Implement and maintain Individual Service Plans
- Conduct ongoing physical and mental assessments
- Maintain accurate consumer records
- Assist with medication if needed
- Perform other duties as needed
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of related work experience in a Mental Health program and/or Residential setting
- Graduation from an accredited Licensed Practical Nurse Program
- Current VA Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or current unrestricted LPN from a Nurse Licensure Compact State
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Solid assessment, clinical, and documentation skills
- Patient-oriented with great interpersonal skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and highly organized
