A renowned healthcare system in New York is seeking a dedicated Mammography Technologist to join their team in the Bronx. This role is critical in providing top-notch radiologic diagnostic services in both acute care and outpatient settings.
About the Opportunity:

- Two roles available: H+H Jacobi and Belvis Health Centers
- Schedule:
- Jacobi: 8am-4pm, including weekends/holidays
- Belvis: Monday 11am-7pm, Tuesday-Friday 8am-5pm
- 13-week contract with the possibility of extension
Responsibilities:
The Mammography Technologist will be responsible for:
- Providing X-Ray and mammography services to patients
- Reviewing medical information and interpreting requisitions accurately
- Following accepted protocols for mammography and X-Ray examinations
- Applying knowledge of Universal Precautions to minimize exposure risks
- Complying with Infection Control and other administrative policies
Qualifications:
- 1+ years of Mammography Technologist experience
- Associate's degree preferred
- A valid license as a radiologic technologist issued by the NYSDOH
- Post-primary certification in mammography by ARRT required
- Strong attention to detail and communication skills
- Proven ability to work in a team-oriented environment
- Ability to handle equipment and documentation accurately
Desired Skills:
- 2 years of experience preferred
- AHA BLS Certification preferred
- X-Ray and DEXA experience preferred
- Experience with EMR systems
