A recognized entertainment organization is currently seeking a Marketing Finance Manager to join their growing team.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the P&L for the marketing organization
- Lead the forecast process for company-wide marketing spend through the maintenance of detailed financial models
- Drive month-end close processes in partnership with Accounting and Corporate Finance, and analyze variances between actual results and forecasts
- Partner with Marketing team to track financial performance of marketing initiatives and report against key performance indicators
- Assist with annual budget and long-range planning processes
- Deliver monthly and quarterly reports to senior leadership team, highlighting key trends
- Partner with Business Intelligence team to define and develop refined reporting capabilities
- Complete invoice and contract reviews to ensure alignment with financial forecasts and budgets
Qualifications:
- 5-7 years of relevant work experience as a financial analyst, management consultant, or in a strategic accounting role
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, with expertise in Excel. Understanding of Power BI is a plus.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to perform detailed analyses and summarize key takeaways
- Ability to prioritize one's workload to complete deliverables in a timely manner
- Exhibit continuous improvement mindset to identify process pain points and partner with stakeholders to implement change
Desired Skills:
- Bachelor's degree, preferably in finance, business, or accounting
- Experience working in the media and entertainment industry or within a marketing finance function is preferred
- Experience in Oracle Essbase, Oracle Planning and Oracle EBS is a plus
