A leading hospital specializing in high-risk pregnancy care in NYC has an exciting opportunity for a highly skilled Maternal Fetal Medicine (MFM) Physician.
About the Opportunity:
- Start Date: ASAP
- Schedule: Part-time or full-time
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care for MFM cases, including inpatient and outpatient coverage
- Perform MFM procedures such as amniocentesis, cerclage, and other advanced diagnostic and therapeutic services
- Supervise and support MFM Physician Assistant (PA) in daily clinical activities
- Provide call coverage for night and weekend MFM consultations
- Manage high-risk pregnancies, including consultations, genetic testing, counseling, and fetal testing
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure comprehensive care for patients with maternal and fetal complications
- Engage in both routine and advanced pregnancy ultrasound interpretation
- Perform other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Board Certified in General Obstetrics & Gynecology
- Board Certified or Board Eligible in Maternal-Fetal Medicine
- Ability to work well within a team and independently in a fast-paced, high-volume setting
- Excellent communication skills, with fluency in English required
- Passion for providing exceptional care for high-risk pregnancies
