A leading behavioral health agency is seeking a licensed and experienced Psychiatrist to serve as Medical Director for its brand-new outpatient clinic in Staten Island. About the Role:
- Schedule: Monday to Friday
- Hours: Standard business
- Location: Hybrid – combination of remote and in-person work
- Setting: Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic
Responsibilities:
- Provide clinical leadership and supervision for psychiatric services
- Oversee care quality, compliance, and clinical outcomes
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance service delivery
- Contribute to program development and innovation within the clinic
Qualifications:
- Must be a licensed Psychiatrist (MD or DO) in New York State
- Board Certified in Addiction Psychiatry OR General Psychiatry + Addiction Medicine
- At least 5 years of clinical experience in psychiatry and/or substance use treatment
- Proven leadership experience in a clinical or administrative capacity
- Active DEA license
- Federal DATA 2000 waiver (buprenorphine-certified)
- Approved PECOS and OPRA provider status in NYS
