A private organization in Florida is looking to add a new, licensed Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner (PA/NP) to their team as the Medical Practicing Administrator.

This role requires extensive travel across our reservations. The individual will rotate weekly between the following locations:

Week 1: Hollywood

Week 2: Big Cypress

Week 3: Brighton

Week 4: Immokalee
The designated home base may be any of our clinics (Hollywood, Big Cypress, Brighton, or Immokalee). A take-home vehicle will be provided for work-related travel.
Responsibilities:
The Medical Practicing Administrator (NP/PA) will:
- The individual exercises direct oversight of medical clinic supervisors and the case management team, while also directing the formulation of goals, objectives, strategies, programs, and budgets for assigned areas.
- This role oversees the coordination and facilitation of ongoing training programs to reinforce safety protocols and best practices, such as the administration of tests, procedural oversight, and reporting requirements.
- The incumbent coordinates work schedules, ensuring efficient team management, staff development, program delivery, evaluation, and quality control.
- Evaluates the effectiveness and efficiency of operations, makes recommendations for improvements, facilitates communication and coordination between clinic staff and other Health Department functions, to enhance the delivery of Health and Human Services.
- This role may also involve the direct provision of comprehensive healthcare services—including diagnosis, treatment, and preventive care—to promote patient wellness and continuity of care.
Qualifications:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing Family Practice/ Physician Assistant
- Active, current Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner/ Physican Assistant (PA/ARNP)
- Certification in Family Practice/Physician Assistant is required. Possession of an active, current Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP)
- Current CPR/HIV certification
Desired Skills:
- ACLS certification
- Experience in a Primary Care field and/or setting
