This role offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to a dedicated neurosurgery department during the holiday season. **About the Opportunity:** - **Hybrid or Remote:** On-site required - **Shift:** 24-hour call coverage - **Schedule:** On-call as required - **Hours:** Daily OT after 10 hours; weekly OT after 168 hours - **Setting:** Hospital-based, with a 30-minute response time for emergencies **Responsibilities:** The **Neurosurgeon** will be responsible for: - Performing complex neurosurgeries with precision and care. - Providing on-call emergency neurosurgery services as needed. - Collaborating with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care. - Maintaining detailed and accurate patient records. - Participating in case reviews and surgical rounds. **Qualifications:** - 2+ years of relevant experience - Board Certified in Neurosurgery, Interventional Neurology, or Interventional Neuroradiology - Valid or pending New Jersey medical license - Strong surgical skills in neurosurgery procedures - Proficiency with advanced medical technologies used in neurosurgery - Excellent problem-solving abilities - Strong communication skills for patient and team interactions - Ability to work effectively in high-pressure situations **Desired Skills:** - 3+ years of neurosurgery experience - Advanced fellowship training in relevant specialties - Experience with endovascular procedures - Leadership skills in a clinical setting - Compassionate patient care approach This position offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact in a well-respected medical environment.
