An established hospital in New Jersey is currently seeking an OB/GYN to join their team on a locum basis. This flexible opportunity includes rotating call coverage with weekday and weekend shifts.
About the Opportunity:
- Shift: Rotating call shifts
- Schedule: 3 to 4 shifts per month
- Hours: Varying shifts – 8a–5p, 8a–8a, 5p–8a, weekends included
- Setting: Inpatient
- On-Call: Yes, during assigned shift only
Responsibilities:
The OB/GYN will be responsible for:
- Managing labor and delivery
- Handling emergent OB/GYN cases
- Conducting inpatient consultations
- Performing OB/GYN-related procedures
- Documenting care in EMR
Qualifications:
- 1+ year of OB/GYN experience
- MD or DO degree
- Active NJ medical license, CDS, and DEA
- Proficiency in inpatient OB/GYN care
- Ability to work independently
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
