A leading healthcare provider is currently seeking a Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist to join their Obstetrics, Gynecology, and Reproductive Sciences team. The specialist will offer high-risk obstetrical care and consultative services.
About the Opportunity:
- Hybrid or Remote: Not specified
- Shift: 8-5, on-call required
- Schedule: As needed, potentially 5 days/week
- Hours: 8 AM - 5 PM
- Setting: Ambulatory only
Responsibilities:
The Maternal Fetal Medicine Specialist will be responsible for:
- Supervision and interpretation of perinatal diagnostic studies
- Prenatal consultations for complex maternal and fetal conditions
- Inpatient consultations and co-management of high-risk obstetric patients
- Participation in multidisciplinary care planning
- Supervision of sonographers and collaboration with Ob/Gyn residents, fellows, and APPs
Qualifications:
- Board-certified/Board-eligible by ABOG
- Medical degree in relevant field
- Experience in perinatal diagnostic studies
- Proficiency in ultrasound interpretation
- Expertise in high-risk obstetrics
- Strong clinical decision-making skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively
- Attention to detail
Desired Skills:
- 5+ years of experience in a similar role
- Additional training in maternal-fetal medicine
- Certification in perinatal diagnostics
- Advanced EMR proficiency
- Effective leadership abilities
