A recognized services provider in New York City is currently seeking licensed Occupational Therapists (OTs) to join their team throughout the city. In this role, the Occupational Therapist (OT) will be responsible for testing and evaluating patients in less complicated cases coping with motor / sensory/ developmental disabilities in K-12 and/or geriatric settings in less complicated cases.
Responsibilities:
- Analyzing medical data to determine rehabilitation goals
- Performing OT evaluations, assessments, and treatment implementation plans
- Helping to plan programs involving activities, such as manual arts and crafts; practice in functional, prevocational, and vocational programs
- Maintaining medical records
- Performing other duties, as needed
Qualifications:
- Master of Science Degree in Occupational Therapy
- NYS Occupational Therapy license or License Eligibility - Proof of Passing NBCOT Examination
